Mikku and Sons Roofing is a family-based roofing company based in Phoenix, Arizona. They serve the greater Phoenix area and have been in business since 2001. Their roofing services include roof replacements, maintenance, and roof repairs.

Before having a strong online presence, Mikku and Sons relied heavily on past referrals and personal selling for their lead sources.

They also used lead Gen services such as Home Advisor. They soon outgrew these Lead Gen services and needed more sustainable growth and an updated website.

Strategy

As seen above, our overall digital strategy was to get as much “Real Estate” on Google’s 1st page for keywords that indicate buyer signals like “roofers in carefree az.” 

We optimized Mikku and Son’s local SEO, redesigned their website with UX/UI principals in mind, created  “geo” landing pages, and set up a local services ads account. On top of this, we launched a successful Facebook advertising campaign.

Once Google My Business was optimized they started to show up in the “3-pack” at the top of the organic results. In the paid advertising section, their local service ad showed, and the optimized “Geo-landing page” for that location showed up in the “normal” Google Search results. Results

The organic rankings improved significantly for Mikku and Sons, and the number of clicks their website received grew 10x! By dominating “real estate” in Google Searches and having a productive Facebook ad campaign, the number of monthly leads increased by 4x.

The key to success was opening up more marketing channels to source leads. The same principles can be applied to any other business.
